NextStage Class:
Solving the Mystery of Audience Focused Web Design

Class Overview:
You enter the room to discover your audience dead on the floor, in a pool of metrics and abandoned shopping carts. But you clicked on those links yourself, just yesterday, and were able to complete a transaction.
What happened? Why is your design effect dead while your competition's is alive and well and transacting away?

NextStage introduces you to a very different design and development process in this half day class. The focus is on preventing mysteries such as that described above from happening. You'll learn an entirely different approach to creating web pages and marketing material, one that allows you to understand and design for users' motives and purpose. At the end of this class you'll understand why certain designs die and be able to bring them back to life. This class is for you if you enjoy a good mystery and learning how to solve them in the process.

  • Rich Personae Development
  • Recognizing Audience Motives and Purposes
  • Placing Action Items Where They'll Be Used
